Selena Gomez and DJ Zedd claim to have nothing more than a friendly and professional relationship, but Gomez's Instagram photos seem to tell a different story.
Her latest photo with the music producer shows Gomez draped over Zedd's shoulder. The caption includes a blushing smiley face and #IWYTK, which reportedly stands for the title of her upcoming single, "I Want You to Know."
Gomez originally had more to say in the caption, writing "Harry to my Sally" but ultimately deleted that part out. She also deleted #Feb22, a possible reference to when the new single will drop.
As Gomez and Zedd explore their relationship, her friends are happy to see her doing well, but others still haven't given the DJ the full benefit of the doubt.
"Selena's friends are a little bit wary while remaining hopeful," a source told E! News. "But ultimately right now, he is making Selena happy and he is not Justin Bieber so that's a good thing."
Music producer Ryan Tedder revealed to Billboard over the Grammys weekend that their new song actually comes from him. He called on Zedd to help him finish the song and said the Russian-German DJ "crushed it."
"I went on a run today and listened to it on repeat in my headphones. And Selena did a bang-up job. She killed it," Tedder told Billboard.
He expects the song's release by the end of the month.
