Kris Jenner and Mindy Lahiri are about to become BFFs! Mindy Kaling, showrunner and star of "The Mindy Project," confirmed on Instagram that the Kardashian/Jenner matriarch landed a guest role on the show's third season.
"Mindy Lahiri & Kris Jenner: Best Friends?," she captioned the photo adding "#comingsoon."
Will Mindy have a fan-girl moment when she meets Jenner? We think so! It's no secret that Dr. Lahiri is a huge fan of the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and cherishes her signed photo of Jenner.
Kaling didn't reveal when Jenner will make her debut but the reality star joins a number of other guest stars including "Orange is the New Black" actress Laverne Cox as Sheena, Julia Stiles, Rhea Perlman, Chrissy Teigen, Dan Hedaya, Ana Gasteyer, Lee Pace, Allison Tolman, Ken Burns and Shonda Rhimes.
Kaling previously teased Jenner's appearance telling E! Online, "We have a guest star coming up this Spring that I think is the single biggest, most exciting guest star we've ever had and I can't say who it is."
"I'm really, really excited about it," she added.
E! also teased that fans will meet Danny's priest, Father Francis, when he decides to confess. We think we know what's on Danny's mind: Mindy recently found out that she's pregnant!
As for even more spoilers, Fox released a description of what fans can expect from "The Mindy Project" for the entire month of February.
"It's a big month on THE MINDY PROJECT, as Danny and Mindy's relationship will change forever when they both receive surprising news. On Feb. 3, Mindy debates whether she should stay in San Francisco and open a new practice, while Peter (Adam Pally) decides if he's willing to leave New York City for love. Then, on Feb. 10, Mindy must get through an awkward Castellano family dinner when Danny's parents (guest stars Rhea Perlman and Dan Hedaya) are reunited. After Danny struggles to tell the office that he and Mindy are moving to California, the gang panics, thinking instead he is dying on the Feb. 17 episode. Finally, on Feb. 24, Danny bets Mindy that he will stop smoking is she will eat healthier."
"The Mindy Project" airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.
