BAFTA Awards: Kevin Spacey Nominated for 'Call of Duty,' 'Alien: Isolation' Leads the Pack With Six Nominations

Kevin Spacey already has a BAFTA (for his supporting role in "American Beauty") alongside his Golden Globes and two Oscars, but he could soon be adding a more curious addition to his awards cabinet.

"The House of Cards" actor has been shortlisted in the second BAFTA Games awards, nominated for his performance in Activision's "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," in which he played Jonathan Irons, a domineering private military contractor.

A total of 51 games have been recognized over 17 different categories, and the winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on March 12. "Alien: Isolation," based on the popular sci-fi film franchise, picked up the most nominations, being up for six awards. Open world, first person shooter "Far Cry 4" and indie iOS title "Monument Valley" were each nominated five times. "Destiny," "80 Days," "Mario Kart 8" and "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" have four nominations apiece.

Thanks to SKY News for the heads up.
