South Korea slipped through to the round of 16 as one of the best third-placed teams at the tournament, Goal.com reports. South Korea earned 4 points with one win, one draw and one loss. Despite placing third in its competitive Group B, South Korea's all-around performance in the group stage earned it a spot in the second stage.

South Korea will have its hands full with the South American squad. Colombia was the second favorite to win the U20 World Cup, behind Spain. Colombia advanced to the round of 16 by finishing first in Group C. It earned seven points with two wins, one draw and zero losses.

Colombia's U20 squad has had solid performances this year. They won the South American youth championship, and they played well at the Toulon Tournament in France, where they won runner-up medals after losing 0-1 to Brazil in the final.

The squad from Toulon is nearly identical to the squad taking the field on Wednesday. Despite a slow start against Australia, Colombia has seemingly found its stride and poses a threat to win the U20 Cup.

Colombia is the favorite to win.
