E! News reporter Giuliana Rancic and Maria Menounos are reportedly at war.
In Touch Magazine reported that the two TV personalities are not getting along. An insider claimed that Rancic thinks the 36-year-old former "Extra" co-host "is stealing her show and she is terrified" and wants her out.
"Giuliana feels threatened by Maria because of the fact that Maria signed with E! and her contract included Live From E!, as well as stake in the company and her own show," a source told Radar Online exclusively.
It was rumored that producers at E! were considering parting ways with the newly-hired Menounos after she conducted a few disastrous interviews on the red carpet of the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards last month.
Menounos received less-then-great reviews for her red carpet reporting, but he network has reportedly changed their mind, claiming that she needs more time to adjust.
"Maria royally messed up at the SAG's when she was taking over for Giuliana and she got heat for it," the source said. "Maria chalked it up to the fact that she was so nervous and the network sided with her, which pissed off Giuliana even more. But E! understands that this was a one-time mess-up because Maria is such a seasoned pro at this."
Unfortunately, a source claims that "people that work at E! think that Rancic really needs to step aside," adding that "she's tired and it shows."
