Drake discreetly dropped his new album, "If You're Reading This It's Too Late," on iTunes late Thursday night.
The Canadian rapper's decision mimicked Beyoncé's release of her self-titled album in late 2013. The only indication Drake would soon release new music was a 15-minute short film titled "Jungle" that he debuted earlier in the day.
The 17-track album features collaborations with Lil Wayne, Travi$ Scott and PartyNextDoor. The song "6 God" was released first back in October in effort to thwart hackers who had the track. He also released two other singles at that time - "How Bout Now" and "Heat of the Moment."
Drake originally announced plans for a follow-up album to 2013's "Nothing Was the Same" last July, tentatively titled "Views from the 6." He has several festival performances lined up, including Coachella in April and the Governors Ball in June.
"If You're Reading This It's Too Late" is available for $12.99 in the iTunes store. He also has the entire album streaming on his website via SoundCloud.
