NBC's "puppy with purpose," Wrangler, has officially been on the Today Show for a month.
Wrangler, a golden Labrador, is currently hanging out on set with the "Today family" and will be trained over an 18-month period to become a guide dog for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
"Supermodel Chrissy Teigen officially admitted to be dating Wrangler-and noted that he may be a better kisser than John Legend," Brier told Daily Beast. "He seems unfazed by his many adoring fans. Whether it's hanging with Gronk, Anne Hathaway, or Naomi Campbell, he seems to take it all in stride."
Wrangler is already among the world's most famous puppies (he has more than 31,000 Twitter followers!) and he appeared in the Today Show's Super Bowl advertisement.
In preparation for becoming a guide dog, Wrangler attends classes every week alongside other puppies his age who will also become guide dogs.
Wrangler made his way to the Today Show set after they approached Guiding Eyes for the Blind "looking to make a difference in someone's life through raising a Guiding Eyes puppy, and we're thrilled about the partnership," reported Daily Beast.
Behind the scenes at the Today Show, Wrangler hangs out in a large orange-colored pen next to Today's Internet-related "Orange Room." The pen is brightly colored with cushions and toys.
Wrangler will start his official training with a professional guide dog instructor in the spring. If everything goes as planned, Wrangler should be matched up with a person with vision loss by the end of 2016.
