9/11 Memorial Live Stream, Schedule: List of Names and Tribute of Lights Scheduled for 11th Anniversary of September 11, 2011

The 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks will feature a memorial ceremony at the World Trade Center and special events around New York City.

The Sept. 11 attacks killed 2,977 people, from the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the three flights that were hijacked by 19 terrorists.

The day's events will feature the "Tribute in Light," supported by the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, and sponsored in part by The Municipal Art Society of New York and Citi. The Tribute in Light will feature lights coming West and Morris Streets in lower Manhattan symbolizing the lives lost on the that The lights are located at West and Morris streets in lower Manhattan. The lights are expected to turn on at 7:11 p.m. EDT and fade by 6:43 a.m. the following morning. The lights consist of 44 7,000-watt xenon light bulbs and are put in two 48-foot squares modeled after the Twin Towers. The lights can be seen up to 4 miles high and from 30 miles away.

Young People's Chorus of New York City performs the National Anthem

8:46 a.m. - Moment of silence (observance of time AA Flight 11 struck North Tower)
(Houses of worship will toll their bells throughout the City)

Family members will begin reading the names in pairs

There will be 100 pairs (200 readers) who will continue until all names are read

Music will provide a backdrop throughout the program

9:03 a.m. - Moment of silence (observance of time UA Flight 175 struck South Tower)

9:37 a.m. - Moment of silence (observance of time AA Flight 77 struck the Pentagon)
