Jimmy Fallon celebrated his one-year anniversary of "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon" by unveiling a new Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor inspired by the NBC late-night program.
Fallon invited Ben & Jerry's co-founders, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, to help present the new flavor called "The Tonight Dough Starring Jimmy Fallon" during "The Tonight Show on Tuesday night.
It whips together caramel & chocolate ice cream, chocolate cookie swirls and "gobs" of both chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie dough.
Ben & Jerry's uses all fair trade ingredients in "The Tonight Dough" and all the proceeds go to the SeriousFun Children's Network of global camps for children with serious illnesses.
The premium ice cream makers rate the new flavor as "Chunk Worthy" on their website. "The Tonight Dough" will be available in stores in pint size and at Scoop Shops.
This is Fallon's second collaboration with the Vermont-based dairy company. He introduced his first ice cream, "Late Night Snack," in 2011, made of vanilla bean ice cream with salty caramel swirl and fudge covered potato chip clusters. Ben & Jerry's phased out the flavor at the end of last year.
