Honey Boo Boo and her famous family could be heading back to your television screens soon with a brand new reality show. Back in October, TLC cancelled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" after reports surfaced that Mama June was dating convicted sex offender, Mark McDaniel, but a new report claims that the family is getting offers to return to TV from other networks.
According to TMZ, Alana Thompson (aka Honey Boo Boo) and the rest of the gang were in Los Angeles recently to meet with producers about getting another reality show. Sources said that networks want the family to star in a "Beverly Hillbillies" type show where they get a new house, money and drivers and try to adjust to the rich and famous lifestyle.
Sources also said that networks want to play up the drama with McDaniel but the family refuses saying that they prefer to deal with it in private. The networks are also pushing for Mama June and Sugar Bear to get back together.
Shortly after June and Bear split, she started dating McDaniel. TMZ broke the news and reported that he was released from prison in March 2014 after he forced an 8-year-old to have oral sex with him. The site later reported that the victim was allegedly June's daughter, Anna Cardwell, now 20.
"I'm mad. I'm upset. I feel betrayed. I feel very hurt. That's the main thing that I am - I feel very hurt that Mama let him come around," Cardwell said during an interview with "Entertainment Tonight." "She's smiling and giggling when he's around. You know he's a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?"
Mama June has not responded to reports that her family is being considered for another reality show.
