NBA Trade Deadline: Oklahoma City Thunder Deal Reggie Jackson to Detroit Pistons

UPDATE Feb. 19, 2:56 p.m.: Reggie jackson has been traded to the Detroit Pistons, according to Yahoo Sports.

The Brooklyn Nets and Oklahoma City Thunder are reportedly in "serious talks" on a deal that would center on unhappy point guard Reggie Jackson for center Brook Lopez, ESPN reports.

The two teams discussed a deal for Lopez last month in which Jackson was not included, though talks ultimately fell apart. However, discussions resumed late Wednesday in which Jackson, who has been pushing for a trade behind the scenes, was reportedly added to the offer.

One potential roadblock for this deal are the contracts involved. Jackson is set to become a restricted free agent after the season and Brooklyn would want a guarantee that he would be interested in an extension when the time comes. On the other side, OKC would likely insist that Lopez exercise his $16.7 million player option for next season.

Jackson is averaging 12.8 points, 4.3 assists and 4.0 rebound per game this season. Lopez is averaging 15.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.
