Only two weeks after Apple Inc. announced the latest iOS 7 beta 2 with iPad support, Apple has already released an iOS 7 3 beta for registered developers.
The newest version of the John Ive inspired operating system doesn't seem to have any significant changes other than the standard ones that were meant to come with an entirely new operating system for all Apple mobile devices. Instead, the new beta is only a collection of bug fixes and performance enhancements. However, Mashable reports that early users have found evidence of some UI tweaks, especially when it comes to fonts and icons within apps.
Although every bit of news from the iOS 7 beta testing phase seems important and is, of course, very interesting to fans of the company's mobile products, it's still important and worthwhile to note that any and all information and software on the iOS is not final. In fact, the finished version of Apple's iOS 7 could look nothing like any of the beta stages. It's all a matter of what users and registered developers find useful or flawed.
As Mashable goes on to point out, it's nice to see Apple releasing beta updates so quickly and on such a consistent basis. If this continues, many of the deelopers who are trying to come out with changes and innovations to their apps will be able to plan a testing strategy a lot easier.
The first time the world saw Apple's newest iOS was at this year's World Wide Developer's Conference on June 10. That was where the company unveiled the product to developers and showed off exactly what it would look like as well as some of the new functions such as a pull up menu complete with shortcut buttons to some popular functions as well as a built-in application that allows users access to the camera's flash to use as a flashlight. Previously this functionality required the use of a 3rd party application. The finished product is set to release sometime this fall.
