Rapper Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose Get Married, Announce Wedding Ceremony in the Fall

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are married! The happy couple announced the news on Twitter earlier in the week, USA Today reports. The 25-year-old rapper and the 29-year-old model tweeted the exciting news to their fans announcing that they will have an actual wedding ceremony in the fall.

The couple got engaged in March 2012 after a year of dating. In November, the "Black and Yellow" rapper told New York radio station that had planned on getting married to Rose in a quiet ceremony.

"We're gonna get, like, licensed marriage, in a couple weeks we'll have that done," he said adding that they would have a wedding ceremony after she gave birth. "When you have the ceremony, that's when you can invite the family. She can fit into a dress... If we have a daughter one day, she might wanna give the dress to our daughter, but if we she's pregnant then she can't do that."

The model, and Kanye West's ex-girlfriend, announced her pregnancy with the rapper on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards. She often documented the pregnancy on Twitter telling her fans about her experiences and what she was going through. At one point she tweeted that she wanted to have an at home birth. During an April interview with talk show host Ricki Lake Rose said that she and Khalifa had planned on having a natural birth at home but the plan fell apart when she found out that the baby was crowned, or feet-first, US Weekly reports.

"My ideal birth plan was just down the drain," she said on the "The Ricki Lake Show." "I tried mugwort, acupuncture and then my last effort was an inversion, which is when you go to the hospital and they manually try to turn your baby. They push his head down and push his butt up... It hurt a lot. It was vey painful. I cried."

The procedure didn't work and Rose had to have a C-section to deliver the baby. She said she doesn't regret it but definitely wants to try for a home birth again next time.

"I feel like I made the right decision," she told Ricki Lake. "But I knew right after having a C-section that [with] our next baby I definitely want to have my birth at home."

The couple welcomed their son, Sebastian "The Bash" Taylor Thomaz on February 21, a few days before his expected due date.
