Troubled actress Amanda Bynes is "doing well," her lawyer said following a closed discussion in a California judge's chambers Tuesday in which her conservatorship was extended until a June 23 hearing, People reported.
Bynes' lawyer, David Esquibias, also told People that Bynes' DUI case has been dismissed.
People also reported that a family source said she "is doing much better from where she was months ago."
"She has her own apartment and is much happier," the source told People. "She and her parents are getting along and Amanda is clear-headed, more focused and has more independence."
Last year, TMZ released audio in which Bynes apparently threatens to kill her parents. Bynes was also rumored to be homeless in 2014 after she checked out, after being involuntarily checked into, Las Encinas Hospital on Oct. 27 following her display of odd behavior and accusing her father of sexually abusing her. Her stay had been extended after a judge granted her parents' request; at the time, she was said to be "very ill."
