Danielle Bradbery won NBC's "The Voice" only three weeks ago, but the 16-year-old has already recorded her first single.
The tune, called "The Heart of Dixie," is a pop-country tune that shows off the young winner's vocal power. It was written by Brett James, Troy Verges and Caitlyn Smith who have all penned songs for country superstars like Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood and last year's "The Voice" champ, Cassadee Pope.
"So excited about my first single with @BigMachine! You can get it next week!" Bradbery tweeted about the single's upcoming release.
This is the fastest single launch ever for a winner from "The Voice." Previous winners Javier Colon, Jermaine Paul and Cassadee Pope all took around six months to release their solo debuts.
Bradbery, a teen from Cypress, Texas with no professional experience beat out country-duo The Swon Brothers and indie singer Michelle Chamuel to become the youngest singer to ever win "The Voice."
"I see us standing her talking about her 20 years from now and I wouldn't say that with this confidence about anybody else that's ever been on this show," coach Blake Shelton said after her win. "Danielle Bradbery is a gift to the music industry and definitely a gift to 'The Voice.'"
Just one day after her win, Bradbery was signed by Nashville's Big Machine Records; best known for signing country's queen of breakup, Taylor Swift.
Bradbery hit the studio shortly after to begin recording. The teen admits it was her first time in a recording booth.
"Being in there I felt more like an artist," she told local reporters in Houston. "It was so much fun and I just can't wait to hear my songs."
Bradbery's single is set to hit radio next week, but you can listen to a sneak peek of "The Heart of Dixie" below.
