Willow Smith’s 'Summer Fling' Music Video Being Labeled as Inappropriate and 'Too Mature' (VIDEO)

Willow Smith's new song "Summer Fling" sure is catchy but the music video that accompanies the young star's lyrics is raising some eyebrows. In the song Smith talks about a summer love often times impersonating a British accent.

"Don't really care what we do tonight. Good night kisses if the mood is right laying by the beach with you wishing this will never end. Thanks for the summer fling. It was nice," Smith sings.

The lyrics have some people talking about whether a 12-year-old singing about a summer romance is appropriate, the Daily Mail reports. Even more people are upset over the video. Smith, or Melodic Chaotic, is seen in the video sporting her blond hair with the shaved sides, cut-off denim shorts and a crop top. Throughout the video the singer is seen having a good time with her friends, typical of what someone her age would do. Her brother Jayden Smith even makes a cameo in the video.

According to the Daily Mail, a lot of people are upset over Smith's supposed boyfriend in the video. Many people believe the guy is too old for the teen. Some people took to Twitter to express their concern for the video and the message her lyrics are sending.

Not everyone disapproved of the video however. One fan tweeted: "I seriously love the video. Ignore all the other comments Willow." Another fan also tweeted the singer that she loved the video.

The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pickett Smith recently dropped out of the remake of "Annie." During a speech in Philadelphia, Will explained why his daughter no longer wanted to do the film saying that she wanted to be like a normal teenager.

"Willow was supposed to be doing 'Annie,' we got Jay-Z to do the movie, got the studio to come in and Willow had such a difficult time on tour with 'Whip My Hair' and she said, 'You know Daddy, I don't think so... I have a better idea. How about I just be 12?" Will explained.

According to the Huffington Post, the young girl has expressed her concerns with being famous before. During a conversation with "Red Table Talk," Willow shared her thoughts on wanting to have a normal life.

"If I had to change one thing about my life, it would probably be, I wouldn't be famous," she said.
