Amanda Bynes 'Serious About Rap Career,' Wants to Go By Rapper Name 'A.B.:' Star Seeking Treatment For Her Issues? (SEE TWEETS)

Troubled star Amanda Bynes has been all over Twitter and entertainment news over the past few months for her wild Twitter rants, legal troubles and tangles with paparazzi, and now an insider has revealed to FOX411's Pop Tarts that Bynes is "serious" about her future rap music career and is not actually crazy, but rather dealing with anger issues.

"Amanda isn't crazy, she just has lots of anger issues and knows she needs help dealing with that," Pop Tart insider said, adding that Bynes likes the idea of having a team with a medical professional and life coach to help her sort through her issues. "She's determined to pull it all together."

Whether or not Bynes is mentally ill, seeking attention or both has been puzzling fans and critics alike, though rapper Waka Flocka Flame thinks she has everything under control.

Waka Flocka Flame announced recently that he's dead serious about working with Bynes on new rap music, telling TMZ that he will be producing her music.

"She has it all together to me," the rapper told TMZ. "She is cool as hell and ready for the rap world. I think she is going to kill the game." He told E! News that Bynes could sign with his label, Brick Squad Monopoly Records, as long as she finishes all of her plastic surgery. He announced that her rap name will be "A.B." and her first single will likely be called "Shots."

The craze about Bynes' antics began around the time she tweeted she wanted rapper Drake to "murder [her] vagina," creating a stir all across social media. She's proceeded to attack Drake on Twitter, calling him "ugly" and then later announced she wants to get plastic surgery on her whole face so they can get married, claiming they have a "mutual crush" on one another.

But today, the star followed up with several tweets about Drake, including:

The star's parents have suggested she is struggling with body image issues, as the 27-year old frequently lashes out and calls other celebrities or anyone who doesn't support her "ugly," and threatens to sue gossip magazines for posting any unsavory photos. On Monday, the star took a hit at the President and First Lady, tweeting: "Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are ugly!" Bynes flew back to New York on Sunday for her scheduled court appearance over allegedly tossing a bong outside of her Manhattan apartment window, donning a wacky blue wig yesterday at her trial. FOX News reports that Criminal Court Judge Diana Boyar ordered her to reappear in court again on September 26. Sources tell Pop Tart that Bynes plans on seeking treatment for her issues until then, including her fixation of her weight and physical appearance. The star has claimed she needs plastic surgery for the mysterious "webbing" between her eyes, and most recently underwent surgery for her nose. The ex-Nickelodeon star has said that she "loves surgery."

"It's all for attention. The wigs, the 'ugly' talk," said our source. "She doesn't take that seriously, but finds it amusing that everyone will write and talk about it so she keeps doing it. Amanda is very serious about the rap career. And I think she will surprise people. She's actually very good."
