‘Scandal’ Spoilers: Which Two Former Cast Members Will Return In Cyrus-Centric Episode?

Cyrus Beene loved one man in his life, and an upcoming episode of "Scandal" will show that the White House Chief of Staff hasn't forgotten his late husband, James Novak.

Dan Bucatinsky, who played the dogged journalist, will return to the ABC show later this season, according to E! News. His character James died last season when Jake (Scott Foley) gunned him down in the street.

Unfortunately, James really did die that night, so the show will feature him in flashbacks during the Cyrus (Jeff Perry)-centric episode. In the present, Kate Burton's disgraced Vice President Sally Langston also returns.

Bucatinsky currently stars on the NBC comedy "Marry Me" with Tim Meadows as the gay fathers of Casey Wilson's character. He also serves as the executive producer on Lisa Kudrow's "Web Therapy" and "The Comeback."

Burton will appear in the second season of the DirecTV original series, "Full Circle," which starts on March 25 at 8 p.m.
