Dallas (40-23) has lost three of their last four games, including Thursday night's 94-75 blowout at Portland. The biggest issue for the Mavericks on Thursday was offense, which never got going. Mavericks star Rajon Rondo led the team with 10 points and nine assists, but the Mavericks looked stagnant on the court for most of the game.

"I thought out defense was very solid, so if we could ever get our offense going we could make things very difficult for them. But our offense never really got going," said Mavericks center Tyson Chandler, via ESPN.

Things won't be any easier on Friday when Dallas travels to the ORACLE Arena. The last time the Mavericks played there, Warriors star Stephen Curry almost single-handedly brought his team back from a 22-point deficit and finished with 51 points, including 26 in the third quarter.

"I used to watch it with Michael Jordan," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said of Curry's special night. "On nights where he missed 10 shots in a row, when everyone else would just clam up, he just all of a sudden would find that incredible confidence. It's unbreakable. Steph has that."

Golden State (47-12) bounced back from their surprising 110-108 loss Monday at Brooklyn with a 102-93 win Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Warriors still sit atop the Western Conference, but they have only a 4 1/2 game lead over No. 2 Memphis.
