Phoenix (32-30) is 2 1/2 games out from the eighth playoff spot in the Western Conference. Still in contention for a postseason berth, every win counts for the Suns down the stretch. They snapped their two-game losing streak on Wednesday with a 105-100 win against the Orlando Magic, but the game marked the third straight time Phoenix had fallen behind by at least 15 points in the first half.

"We've got to come out and go at people, make people guard us. The last few games we've been kind of back on our toes," said Suns forward P.J. Tucker, according to ESPN. "We've got to hit people and put them back on their toes and attack. When we do that, we can play with any team in the league."

Wednesday also saw newly-acquired guard Brandon Knight have his best game yet in a Suns uniform, dropping 28 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field.

"I wanted to keep us together," Knight told the team website, via ESPN. "I wanted to make sure to keep things positive and help us keep fighting."

Brooklyn is also still in contention for a playoff spot. The 25-34 Nets are only one game out from the No. 8 seed, something that has veteran Thaddeus Young optimistic.

"Teams are not going to give it to us, so we have to keep going out there fighting and keep playing the basketball we know we can play," Young said. "If we go out there and get back to ourselves, we'll be fine."

Brooklyn had their two-game winning streak squashed on Wednesday in a 115-91 blowout against the Charlotte Hornets.
