Data Integration Key For Apple Watch

For humans, the apple has always been an icon for good health, social benefits and good lore. Apple Watch wants to be thought of in the same vein. It will put its best foot forward on Monday at its anticipated preview. Tech observers and consumers are keen to have questions answered.

The Apple Watch is holding its cards close before its Monday preview. The preview will take place Monday, March 9 at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. GMT.

Apple Watch promises effective features. And as consumer demand for communication integration increases, there is a growing need for devices that connect rapidly and with shorter delays across different platforms. So there is a need. There may even be an affiliated app that helps connectivity to TV and other devices.

But Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cooke recently said in addition to making the wearing of a conventional wristwatch possibly an irrelevant occurrence, the Apple Watch will have other important functions.

Those important functions may require the use of higher speed, new data streams or data collection procedures. So when it was published that the Apple Watch may have a Lightning port to enable connectivity, that may have been considered an advantage.

But now, according to 9to5mac.com, the gadget will be shipped without the port. The Lightning port is designed to help migration of data between devices and the consumer's other electronics, computers and communication devices. The information was confirmed in TechRadar.

The company has asked developers who went to the Apple Watch development sessions over the last two months to wait before announcing their new applications. The site 9to5mac.com reported that Apple likely wants to contribute to input on the marketing of apps that integrate with the watch.

Many companies say they don't release products or services that position the buyer as a "volunteer" development engineer. Whether for financial reasons or for consumer acceptance purposes, corporate initiatives include consumer integration at many tech companies.

Tech observers note the presentation could give insight into Apple Watch plans and the product's stage of development, including integration with data sources.

For instance, while Fruit Street Health announced a platform integration with the watch, co-functionality and connection speeds are not known. But that is an example of a highly anticipated co-production.

The "bling" appeal certainly has been hyped, as there are some high priced version of the Apple Watch, including a gold edition that runs in the $10,000 to $20,000 range.
