Denzel Washington has shut down the latest rumors surrounding his marriage to Pauletta Washington. The actor's rep is denying that Denzel and Pauletta are splitting after allegations that the actor was spotted with another woman, Digital Spy reports.
According to Radar Online photos are currently being sent around to different media outlets that shows the "Training Day" actor sitting on a couch with another woman. In some of the other pics he is seen pulling the mystery woman in towards and then kisses her. Radar claims to have seen the pictures. His rep says the allegations are not true.
"They are not divorcing, not separating," his rep told Gossip Cop.
Rumors began after the couple spent their 30th wedding anniversary away from each other. A source told Star magazine that Paulatta had "moved to New York to contemplate if she's ready to end the marriage for good."
Mrs. Washington recently spoke to Ebony magazine about her 30 year marriage to the actor.
"I live with this man. I see the down part. I see the sad part. I see every part. He has and knows he has stability with his wife," she said. "That's what gives him strength, regardless if he misuses it. I can't dwell on that. But I do know that gives him a great platform to go and fly."
"There's no magical mystery to [staying together]... We go through up and downs like any couple," Denzel continued adding that he thinks "we live in a time - and it's not for me to judge anyone - when people give up too easy."
This isn't the first time cheating allegations have surrounded Denzel. It was rumored that Denzel was messing around with his "Out of Time" co-star Sanaa Lathan but she denied the rumors.
