A dog named Bill is HNGN's rescue pet of the week. The pit bull terrier mix is available for adoption at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal's adoption center (424 E. 92nd St. New York City). Those interested in taking in Bill as their own can call the facility for more information at (212) 876-7700.
Bill's new owner may have to take him to the veterinarian so he can be treated for medical conditions that tend to bother him during the summer, ASPCA reported on its website. The center has advice on how to properly address these matters.
Bill is otherwise full of energy and loves to play, especially in a house with growing teenagers or older adults.
