Four-star football recruit Jean Delance de-committed to the University of Oklahoma on Monday, just one day after a video surfaced showing members of an Oklahoma fraternity chanting racist remarks. According to one report, the racist video caused him to change his mind about playing for the Sooners.
Delance, an offensive tackle who originally committed to Oklahoma in November, announced his de-commitment Monday afternoon on Twitter.

While SB Nation reported Delance's decision to de-commit was "brewing for some time," Bob Przybylo of SoonersIllustratred.com reported the racist video was in fact to blame for Delance's departure.

Unheard, a black student group at Oklahoma, posted the video online Sunday. The video, which showed members of Oklahoma's Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chanting racist remarks while on a bus, prompted quick action from the university. School president David Boren announced Monday the university had severed ties with the SAE chapter and had ordered their fraternity house to be permanently closed. Boren also didn't rule out the possibility of expulsions for the students involved in the video.
