Hannibal Buress has a prolific stand-up career and a hilarious role on "Broad City." Now, the comedian is getting his own his show.

On Tuesday, Comedy Central ordered eight episodes of "Why? With Hannibal Buress" according to The Wrap.

Premiering in July, the 30-minute show will air once a week and have Buress "answering the burning questions on his mind through stand-up, filmed segments, man-on-the-street interviews and special in-studio guests," Comedy Central said in a statement.

"Hannibal keeps asking us 'why' so we just told him to go find out and we'll air it," Kent Alterman, president of content development and original programming for Comedy Central, said.

Buress currently plays a dentist/foodie on "Broad City" and also has writing credits on "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live"

"I'm extremely excited to help Comedy Central sell advertising," Buress told The Wrap.
