'The Fall' Season 3: Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson Are Returning [VIDEO]

Jamie Dornan may be more of a movie star nowadays, but he will be returning to the small screen soon enough.

The "50 Shades of Grey" star and Gillian Anderson are returning for the third season of BBC Two's "The Fall," according to E! Online.

The announcement was made via a trailer for the upcoming season.

"We'd like to thank the BBC - Kim Shillinglaw, Ben Stephenson and Stephen Wright - for showing such confidence in the drama we have created with Artists Studio," director Allan Cubitt said in a statement.

The second season of the show ended on a cliffhanger, which Cubitt said was done intentionally.

"The cliffhanger ending of season two was conceived in the hope of further exploring the characters and the themes that are at the heart of The Fall," he said in a statement. "We're grateful to be given this opportunity by the BBC."

The show's home in America is on Netflix, but according to E! Online the streaming service has not yet confirmed that the third season will be available. The first two seasons of "The Fall" are still on Netflix.
