Sources Rubbish Kristen Stewart's 'Buddhism' Rumors Post Robert Pattinson Split

Kristen Stewart is not studying Buddhism after splitting with long-term boyfriend Robert Pattinson, sources confirm.

Earlier this week, reports had it that actress Kristen Stewart had turned to Buddhism to cope with the trauma and heartache post her spilt with long-term boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. Hollywood Life reported that the "Twilight" actress was currently studying the religion to help bring her "inner peace."

"Kristen has been studying Nichiren Buddhism. It's a type of Buddhism, where you chant Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo. Chanting is suppose to help you through tough times and bring you inner peace and ultimate happiness. Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr also practice the same type of Buddhism. She has a couple of friends who practice and they encouraged her to get involved," a source reportedly told the tabloid.

Now, Gossip Cop reports that sources have confirmed Stewart is doing no such thing. According to their report, the source said the story was just "made up" and wondered where HollywoodLife got the news.

It's no secret that the actress is having trouble coping with the split. However, according to friends close to Stewart, the actress is doing pretty well considering she hasn't seen Pattinson since their split and he moved out May 17.

"[Kristen's] actually doing pretty well, considering all the drama and heartbreak with Rob. Kristen has not seen Rob since the day he moved out. It's been hard, I mean she lost her best friend. She is still sad, but is trying to make the best of the situation," Perez Hilton quoted a source as saying.

While recent reports suggest Pattinson is having the time of his life and allegedly dating Riley Keough, an actress, model and Elvis Presley's granddaughter, OK! Magazine published a report suggesting the actor is still obsessing over and "desperately missing" Stewart.

"Sometimes he starts to send a text then changes his mind," Enstarz quoted a source telling OK! "It seems Rob can't let Kristen go."
