Angie Stone Arrested: Allegedly Knocked Out Daughter's Teeth With Metal Stand; R&B Singer’s Daughter Speaks Out After Incident (PHOTO)

Grammy-nominated r&b singer Angie Stone was arrested in her Georgia home Monday and charged with domestic aggravated assault on her 30-year-old daughter, Diamond Stone.

TMZ reported that the 53-year-old "Wish I Didn't Miss You" songstress and her daughter reportedly got into a heated altercation, which turned physical when Diamond allegedly punched her mother in the face with a closed fist.

A police report indicates that Angie used a metal stand to defend herself but the stand hit her daughter in the face knocking out several of her teeth. A family friend had broken up the fight before police arrived. Police in Dekalb County took both women into custody and Diamond was later released without being charged. Angie was booked for aggravated assault.

Diamond told police an argument began after her mother complained about her messy room and told her to get her young children under control. According to the police report, Angie claimed she was unaware that she had hit her daughter with a metal bar.

"Once [Angie] realized this, she quickly put the stand down and attempted to get away from Ms. Diamond Stone," an officer wrote. "Ms. Angie Stone then stated while she tried to get away, Ms. Diamond Stone continued to come after her as if to strike her again but stated that Ms. Blondy Chisolm (the family friend) came to break up the fight."

According to Madamenoire.com, following her mother's arrest, Diamond took to Facebook to share photos of teeth after the incident and blast her mother for the attack.

"People are so quick to pass judgment but never really know the full story," she wrote. "Never uphold people in wrong no matter who they are I'm crushed but I ain't dead so for the people that praise 'her' keep right on just know that it ain't over. You so big and bad but had to use a weapon on me in a fight that you started."

She continued, "You giggled on the inside because you thought I was going to jail too. Wrong? I'm sick of putting up these fronts and because you took s**t to another level I will too. I love all my family, but I cannot take [this] any more abuse so I'm separating myself from it all. I pray God heals us from this but from where I sit there is no turning back cause if you [not] wit me [then] you against me. You so worried about to media and the press but I promise you this, I will not rest until my story is heard!"

Angie was released from jail Wednesday morning. ABC News reported that if charged and convicted Angie could face incarceration and fines.
