The Boston College Eagles play the North Carolina (UNC) Tar Heels on Wednesday in the second round of the 2015 ACC Men's Tournament. Tipoff is at 2:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links offered below.
No. 19 North Carolina heads into the ACC tournament looking to bounce back from Saturday's 84-77 loss to Duke. The loss marked the Tar Heels' sixth in 10 games, dropping them to a 21-10 to conclude the regular season.
"It's a new season, as everybody says," said coach Roy Williams, via ESPN. "We get to go out there and see if we can play our tails off for four days. And if we do, we've got a chance to win the whole thing. When we play really well, we've got a chance to beat anybody."
The Tar Heels will be without sophomore center Kennedy Meeks, who's out with an illness.
"Running a temperature, they got it down last night, but it was back up this morning," Williams said. "They tested him for (mononucleosis), strep (throat), everything comes up negative. ... He won't play tomorrow; we'll have to wait and see after that."
North Carolina and Boston College last met on Feb. 7, with the unranked Eagles losing 79-68. Boston College, though, is heading into Wednesday's game with four straight wins under their belt. They escaped Georgia Tech in Tuesday's first round with a 66-65 win, thanks in part to junior guard Olivier Hanlan's 25 points and his go-ahead jumper.
"Obviously at the end of the day, put the ball in the hands of a special player and he makes a play," coach Jim Christian said. "As I told the team, you don't have to play great to advance in conference tournaments. You just have to advance."
