Slipknot's Mick Thomson Injured in Knife Fight with Brother?

A man believed to be a member of masked heavy metal group Slipknot and his brother were injured Wednesday in a knife fight at an Iowa home, according to heavy metal news site Blabbermouth.

Des Moines TV station KCCI reported that police were dispatched to a home on West 129th Street in Clive where Mickeal Gordon Thomson and Andrew Thomson "were involved in some sort of altercation inside the home." Mickeal Thomson "is believed to be the musician better known as Mick Thomson of Slipknot," according to Blabbermouth.

Police said the fight spilled into the front yard "where the incident became physical," KCCI reported.

"When officers arrived, they found the brothers, both apparently drunk, with serious but not life-threatening stab wounds. Mickeal Thomson had a stab wound in the back of his head," the Des Moines Register reoprted, adding that both Thomsons were taken to hospitals in seperate ambulances.
