The Maryland Terrapins and the Indiana Hoosiers meet for the third time this season on Friday, when the two teams play in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals with a spot in the next round on the line. Find the live streaming information below.
No. 8 Maryland won its seventh straight game after handing Nebraska a 64-61 loss in Sunday's regular-season finale. Terps guard Melo Trimble led the team with 21 points, and guard Dez Wells added 18 points and 12 rebounds, helping the team finish the regular season with a school-best 26-5 record.
"This team, I've always thought we could do anything. 26 wins, I knew we'd get it as long as we played our game," Trimble said, via ESPN. "Coach (Mark) Turgeon told us we were on the way to breaking the school record. Once he told us that, we really wanted it."
Turgeon was honored with the Big Ten Coach of the Year award, something his players believe was well deserved.
"Coach Turgeon taught me how to lead and be patient," said Wells, who transferred to Maryland as a sophomore in Turgeon's second year with the team. "He stood by me. We stood by each other. I am really excited for him. He isan outstanding coach and very deserving of the award. Coach is such a hard worker who is committed to making Maryland basketball the very best."
Indiana (20-12), meanwhile, ended its regular season on a three-game losing streak. The Hoosiers, though, bounced back from their third straight loss - a 74-72 defeat against Michigan State in the regular-season finale - with a 71-56 win on Thursday against Northwestern.
Indiana and Maryland split their regular-season series, with each team losing on the road.
