Harris Wittels: 'The Sarah Silverman Program' Releases Video Tribute For Writer [WATCH]

Harris Wittels gained fame from being a writer on NBC's "Parks and Recreation" but long before that, comedian Sarah Silverman discovered him.

She offered him a writing job on "The Sarah Silverman Program" in 2007 and he worked there until the show ended in 2010.

On Sunday, Rob Schrab, co-creator of "The Sarah Silverman Program," posted a NSFW video tribute for Wittels to Vimeo on behalf of the show.

Wittels body was found in his Los Angeles apartment by police on Feb. 19. The cause of death is believed to be heroin overdose but that has not yet been confirmed.
