Martina Hingis' professional life is at an all-time high: over the weekend, she became one of the youngest players to ever be immortalized in the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
Businessman and former tennis player Ion Tiriac recently called her "one of the most intelligent players-men and women-on the tennis court."
But as far as her personal life goes, it seems Hingis is on the verge of a breakdown-on Monday, her husband accused the tennis star of being a serial adulterer, a Swiss newspaper reported.
Thibault Hutin, a 26-year-old horseback rider, told SonntagsBlick that he found Hingis in a hotel room with another partner.
"A year after the wedding...we were supposed to meet in New York and I wanted to give her a surprise. Upon arriving at the hotel room, it was me that was surprised, because Martina was not alone," he said.
He also mentioned that in late 2012, he "found out that she had cheated...again."
Hutin didn't stop there, admitting that he and his wife separated in January.
"Martina has a very personal conception of morality," Hutin explained. "She has always been like that; I think she has always been unfaithful to her boyfriends."
According to another article published in Schweizer Illustrierten, Hingis is said to now be with David Tosas Ros, a Spanish executive working in sports management.
Hutin revealed that this news was heart stopping for him.
"They shared the hotel room there and they paraded themselves in public in the Bois de Boulogne," he said. "There are even pictures of them. You can imagine how painful it was for me.
Hingis' representatives have not responded to the allegations made by her husband just yet.
