After years of talks, Andy Cohen is officially getting his own SiriusXM radio channel!
"I'm talking to people that I love who have strong voices and something to say, and I want to give them a place to say it. When you look at the entire breadth of the channel, I think it's going to be a really unique group of people that represent my world," Andy Cohen told USA Today.
As part of his deal, Cohen said he will talk for a minimum of two hours live on his channel per week.
Cohen, who hosts Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live," is currently working on hiring hosts for his 24-hour channel.
He was reportedly Scott Greenstein about a satellite channel "for years." Cohen had his first taste of satellite radio during a five week hosting stint in 2012.
"Certainly the idea of having a place that I could program and do whatever I want, where ratings and censorship are not an issue was incredibly appealing to me," Cohen told USA Today.
He plans to "let himself go" with the freedom from censorship even more than he already does in "Watch What Happens Live."
"I think it's going to be an even freer me," Cohen told USA Today.
The show, which will be based from the SiriusXM studios at Rockefeller Center, will likely air beginning in the summer or fall.
