India heads into the second quarterfinal of the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record, good for first in the Pool B standings. Their last win came on Saturday in a six-wicket victory over Zimbabwe, thanks in part to Man of the Match winner Suresh Raina's 110 runs and skipper MS Dhoni's 85. India was just as dominant on the bowling front, with Mohit Sharma recording 10 outs and took three wickets, and Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami each taking three wickets as well.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, finished fourth in the Pool A standings with a 3-2 record and heads into Thursday's contest looking to bounce back from Friday's three-wicket loss to New Zealand. Mahmudullah and Soumya Sarkar led the offense with 128 runs and 51 runs, respectively. On the bowling front, Shakib Al Hasan led the efforts with 8.5 outs and four wickets, and Nasir Hossain tallied five outs and two wickets.
