Lady GaGa's highly anticipated third studio album "ARTPOP" has been on the lips on fans for months, and while the album isn't set to be released until November 11, record producers have announced that the star's new project will be the best pop album since Michael Jackson's "Thriller," according to the Examiner.
So far GaGa has collaborated with a number of well-known artists and producers for the new album, including rapper Azealia Banks and good friend Fernando Geribay, who helped produce some the pop star's biggest hits. Details on "ARTPOP" have been rather vague so far, but a recent statement from the singer's management claimed that it "musically mirrors Gaga's creative process as she passes through the medium of each artist she collaborates with, scoring a blueprint on her journey," according to Rolling Stone.
"When you hear the songs, your heart will race," a record executive allegedly told the Examiner. "Tears will come out of your eyes. And you will dance with joy. 'ARTPOP' isn't your typical EDM album. It takes EDM and pop to a whole new level. Actually, it takes music to a whole new level."
The record executive did admit that "ARTPOP" may not yet be finished.
"There may be some tweaking here and there, but the product is just about ready," he said. "Everybody at Interscope is excited for the biggest album of the year and, possibly, the biggest album of the decade."
Lady GaGa will host an ARTPOP Ball Tour in 2014 following the album's release. She's already "leaked" some preview clips from the album's production to fans, and so far several tracks with names like "Burqa" and "Ratchet" have been tenatively thrown into the gossip sphere.
GaGa is also plotting for a sequel to her smash "Telephone" featuring Beyonce to be on the album, a song called "Tea" which she confirmed on Twitter late last year.
