Selena Gomez Wants to Start a Family, Is Justin Bieber Back in the Picture? (VIDEO)

Selena Gomez sat down with Ryan Seacrest for a candid interview about the star's future in music, starting a family and falling in love, E! News reports.

The 20-year-old singer told Seacrest that she finally thinks she is ready to leave home even though the decision was not easy for her.

"Yeah, you know I think it's time," the singer said about getting her own place. "I didn't ever wanna be forceful to saying, 'OK, I've made enough to get my own house and OK, let's blow it off and do whatever.' I just love being with my family and I love knowing that they're there. But yeah, I think it's probably time for me to get my own house."

Gomez definitely comes off as a mature young adult in the interview with the "American Idol" host telling him that she often plans for future but also knows that nothing is set in stone "and that various situations could arise to change what she has in mind for her professional and personal life."

When Seacrest asked Gomez if she had a ten-year plan she responded that she does. Whether Justin Bieber is a part of that plan remains a mystery. The two have dated off-and-on for a couple years now.

"I do, but you just never know how it's gonna execute. I have goals - personally and in my professional career, too - but what's in today could be gone tomorrow, so you might not see me in five years," she said.

From a very early age the actress/singer has had a strong work ethic and said in the sneak peak of the interview that she plans on continuing to be a workaholic until she has a family of her own one day, adding that right now she likes the idea of a big family.

In the clip the singer doesn't mention her rumored boyfriend, Justin Bieber, but you do catch the "Come & Get It" singer telling Seacrest that "you can't help who you fall in love with."

The "Boyfriend" singer also recently told US Weekly that he was ready to settle down and start a family saying that he hopes his marriage mimics that of his grandparents.

"My grandparents Bruce and Diane Dale are my relationship role models," he told the magazine. "They love each other so much, after so many years! When I'm their age, I want to be as in love with my wife as my grandfather is with his."

The full E! special with Selena Gomez and Ryan Seacrest airs Sunday at 10 p.m.
