Like India in Pool B, New Zealand is the only unbeaten team in Pool A. New Zealand is a perfect 6-0 after defeating Bangladesh by three wickets Friday. Martin Guptill's team-high 105 runs powered the offense and earned him the Man of the Match award. Ross Taylor was the only other New Zealand player to break the half-century mark, adding 59 runs to his team's total. On the bowling front, Trent Boult and Corey Anderson each recorded 10 outs and two wickets.
The West Indies, meanwhile, were fourth in Pool B with a 3-3 record. They improved to .500 after their six-wicket win on Sunday against the United Arab Emirates. Jason Holder's 10 outs and four wickets were good enough to earn him the Man of the Match award, with Jerome Taylor chipping in on the bowling efforts with 8.4 outs and three wickets. On the offensive side of the pitch, Johnson Charles and Jonathan Carter led the team with 55 and 50 runs, respectively.
The winner on Saturday will go on to play South Africa on Tuesday in the World Cup semifinals.
