Taylor Swift wanted Selena Gomez to dump boyfriend Justin Bieber for good as the whole break-up drama affected Gomez badly, says a report in Hollywood Life
Recently the Internet was abuzz with news about Gomes and Bieber first breaking up and then getting back together. Along with some girl fans of Beiber's, Gomez's best friend Taylor Swift was also reportedly not happy with the reunion.
According to a report in Hollywood Life, Swift wanted Gomez to dump Bieber for good and was totally against the two getting back together. According to the report, Swift felt that her friend was not coping too well with the Bieber drama in her life.
"She [Taylor] just feels Selena is getting weighed down by the Justin drama," An insider tells Life & Style.
It was also reported that Gomez's mother Mandy Teefey throught the two should ot get back together.
"Selena's mom, Mandy, doesn't want Selena held back by Justin," says a friend to the tabloid. "She says he's too much trouble."
However, the two are very much together and have been spotted on various occasions holding hands and kissing, confirming they are a couple again.
The two had spilt because of Gomez having some trust issues and not liking the way Bieber flirted with other models. Sources they problems between the two were evident way before the two actually broke up.
"I knew something was wrong with Justin and Selena almost three months ago," an insider told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. "I saw them at the Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood on August 25 and Selena did NOT look happy. They were seeing their friend, comedian Bo Burnham perform. When they left, Justin was talking to all these girls who wanted pictures taken with him. He was laughing and flirting, while Selena just stood in the corner waiting for him. Justin used to be very protective of Selena, and the ultimate gentleman. But that night Justin left first with some buddies, and Selena followed behind."
