Queen Elizabeth is not so patiently waiting for the Duchess of Cambridge to give birth. According to Fox, the Queen will be leaving for vacation in two days and hopes to see her third great grand-child before she leaves.
While visiting England's Lake District earlier in the week, a school girl asked Queen Elizabeth if she wanted Kate Middleton to have a boy or a girl.
"I don't think I mind. I would very much like it to arrive. I'm going on holiday," the Queen jokingly told the little girl.
According to US Weekly, she will be leaving for Scotland July 19. The Queen isn't the only one anxious for the royal baby to arrive. New and expectant mothers in Britain are reportedly waiting for the Duchess of Cambridge to give birth before they name their own child, Sheknows.com reports. Apparently, these moms want their child to have the same name as the royal baby.
"We have thought of quite a few names but we both decided it would be lovely to see what Will and Kate choose first," an expectant mom told coupon website NetVoucherCodes.co.uk in a survey. "I love the name Alexandra so if we have a girl then it may be the most straightforward decision we have to make."
"My baby is due before the royal baby is due, but I already know I definitely want it to have the same name," another survey taker told the website. "The birth of Will and Kate's baby is such a monumental event that is going to be remembered forever, just like the royal wedding. Giving my baby the same name is my personal way of celebrating."
It has been speculated that the Duchess will be having a little girl after she reportedly made a slip up in front of reporters a couple months ago. When taking a gift for the baby she said "Thank you. I will take that for my d..."
If her slight mistake does she mean she will be giving birth to a future Queen, the top female names rumored for the baby are Alexandra, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Diana and Victoria. If it's a boy the most popular names are said to be George and James.
