The "Villanova Crying Piccolo Girl" dried up her tears and was all smiles when she got invited on "The Tonight Show."
Roxanne Chalifoux, a piccolo player in the Villanova University band, started crying immediately after her team's March Madness loss on Saturday.
She was probably not the only one crying over the devastating loss, but she was the only one to be caught crying on national TV while still doing her job by continuing to play her piccolo.
Quickly after she appeared on TV, Chalifoux's crying face was recreated into several viral memes.
It wasn't all embarrassment for Chalifoux, however. When Jimmy Fallon saw her going viral, he brought her on "The Tonight Show" and gave her the opportunity to play her piccolo with The Roots.
