The West Virginia Mountaineers and the Kentucky Wildcats meet on Thursday in the Sweet 16 round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament. The March Madness fourth-round game tips off at 9:45 p.m. ET, and it can be live streamed - or listened to - for free through any of the links provided below.
No. 1 Kentucky's perfect season continued after Saturday's 64-51 win over Cincinnati in the third round of the NCAA Tournament, despite shooting a dismal 37 percent from the field. Wildcats guard Aaron Harrison led the team with 13 points, and forward Trey Lyles added 11 points and 11 rebounds in what marked Kentucky's sixth straight double-digit win.
"I always like it when my team shoots 37, 36, 35 percent and wins in double digits," said Kentucky coach John Calipari, via ESPN. "It shows them they don't have to make shots to win. You can miss them all. No, you can't miss them all. You can miss most of them, and you can still win games if you defend, you rebound and you play that way, make your free throws, and they did."
Although Kentucky hasn't had much trouble reaching the Sweet 16, Calipari expects that to change Thursday when his team meets the suffocating defense of West Virginia.
"They're creating havoc, they're taking you out of your offense, they're creating opportunities for tough shots or turnovers," Calipari told the Associated Press. "They're playing very physical, they're coming in and letting you know it's going to be body to body."
No. 5 West Virginia rallied on Sunday to come away with a 69-59 win over Maryland, thanks to the same stingy defense that Calipari expects to cause problems on Thursday. According to the Associated Press, the Mountaineers have forced 40 turnovers through their first two games of the NCAA Tournament.
