Square Enix is one of the bigger game developers in the field today, having maintained popular series like "Final Fantasy," "Dragon Quest" and "Kingdom Hearts." Now, the company has released its latest entry, "Deus Ex 4: Mankind Divided."
The reveal for "Deus Ex 4" took place after Game Informer revealed the cover for its May issue.
"The original Deus Ex is one of the most critically acclaimed shooter/RPG hybrids of all-time. In 2011, Eidos-Montreal resurrected the dormant franchise with Human Revolution, giving the series an updated look while remaining true to the player choice-driven gameplay. Eidos-Montreal knew its game wasn't perfect, and has worked to improve the series' combat systems and boss encounters for the latest entry in the series - Mankind Divided," Game Informer reported.
Mankind Divided is set two years after "Human Revolution", the most recent entry in the series, and focuses on the same protagonist: Adam Jensen, a mechanically-augmented law enforcement official who has worked for biotech developer Sarif Industries. Jensen wil work with a specialized Interpol force as they attempt to capture a series of augmented terrorists in "Mankind Divided".
Game Informer added that the game will feature "not only new gameplay twists including new augmentations to play around with, but also a more open-ended structure to give you more freedom to solve challenges," The Verge reported.
Square Enix has not released any details about "Mankind Divided's" release date, but it will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, as well as for PC.
