Lady Gaga Crowned Forbes' Top-Earning Celebrity Under 30

Forbes crowned Lady Gaga the top earning celebrity under the age of 30 after estimating her earnings at $80 million last year.

Lady Gaga has been crowned the top earning celebrity under 30 by Forbes magazine. Despite suffering from an inflammatory joint infection called synovitis and abruptly canceling her "Born This Way Ball" tour, she earned an estimated $80 Million between June 2012 and June 2013, making her the highest earning celebrity under the age 30.

The "Marry The Night" singer had the highest fan following on Twitter with more than 38.6 million before Justin Bieber broke her record with 40 million followers. Gaga has an enormous 57.9 million likes on her official Facebook page. She ranked second position in Forbes Most Powerful Celebrities list 2013.

The Mother Monster is known to keep her public appearances unique and memorable. Earlier in March, Gaga appeared in a custom-made 24-karat gold plated wheelchair with 1.5 ounces of gold, after her surgery.

The "Top-Earning Celebrities Under 30" list includes high profile Hollywood celebrities, mostly women. According to Forbes, Taylor Swift ranked third on the list with an estimated $55 million earnings last year. Swift's last album Red, sold 1.2 million copies in its first week, making it the highest sold album in a decade.

Justin Bieber ranked second, taking the lead from Swift by earning $58 million last year. The 19-year-old singer has constantly been in the news for his notorious acts including the most recent one where he was taped peeing in a janitor's bucket at a Ney York nightclub.

Rihanna was ranked fifth on the list with $43 million annual earnings. The Barbadian singer was on top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with her single "Diamonds" and her second international single "Stay" was in the top five.

Katy Perry and Adele made it to the list ranking sixth and seventh, respectively. Perry earned an estimated $39 million last year and Adele trailed the list with an estimated $25 million earning. Adele gained worldwide attention after her Oscar winning song for "Skyfall." Jennifer Lawrence also made it to the Top 10 with $26 million, ranking eighth position, courtesy "Hunger Games". The movie alone fetched her under $1 million. Kristen Stewart was ranked ninth in the list after her last super-hit Twilight movie, which opened in 4,000 theaters and grossed $830 million.
