‘RHONJ’: Teresa Giudice to Rejoin Series After Prison Sentence? ‘Bravo Wants Her Back’

Teresa Giudice apparently hasn't had enough of the cameras, and she and her family may be featured on the small screen yet again.

It was previously reported that Season 7 of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" would go on without Teresa, but new reports claim that the reality star wants to rejoin the series and pick up where she left off after she finishes her 15-month prison sentence.

Giudice, 42, was arrested in March 2014 for bank fraud, mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud, and will be released before Christmastime, two months short of the actual 15 months she was ordered to serve.

Bravo may be persuading Giudice to return because the network reportedly "wants her back," according to Us Weekly.

Many faithful "RHONJ"-watchers would surely be interested in hearing about Teresa's stay at the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut - the same location where Netflix's hit series "Orange is the New Black" was filmed.

The new claims come just over a week after Teresa's husband, Joe Giudice, 42, said that his family would not return to the show, unless they were offered generous compensation. Joe did reveal in a recent interview that he has his own projects going on, and that a new spinoff series (of "RHONJ") is in the works. The series would record Joe's life as a single dad while Teresa is behind bars, IBT reported.

"The numbers would have to be very big in order to go back so um, we'll see... as of right now there's nothing," he said.

Giudice's sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, will likely return to the series, too, alongside some possible newcomers, Us Weekly reported. Gorga, who is a longtime "housewife," will likely be the center of attention, should Teresa not come back.

Whether the Giudice family returns or not, Bravo is looking to make some new spotlight-worthy additions that will, no doubt, create a drama-filled season.

Traci Lynn Johnson, the wife of former NFL player Tiki Barber, was being considered for the new cast. "Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro's wife, Lisa Valastro, and Erica Levy, Geraldo Rivera's wife, were also mentioned as other possibilities, according to IBT.

Teresa was given a lesser sentence because she had limited involvement in the crimes, but knew what was going on. The couple was arranged to have consecutive sentences so that one parent could be home to take care of their four daughters - Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5. When Teresa is released, Joe will begin his 41-month sentence for the same charges.

Bravo has not yet confirmed a premiere date for "RHONJ" or any details regarding the new cast.
