In a recent interview with Hollywood Life, Mel B. revealed that a 2016 reunion could be in the works for the British pop girl band.
"It's our 20th anniversary next year, and if everything lines up, then we should be doing something," she said.
The 39-year-old "America's Got Talent" judge said that the bandmates are very supportive of one another and are "really good friends."
"We've known each other for 25 years now, which is crazy."
This wouldn't be the first time in 25 years that the five Spices - Melanie Chisholm (Sporty), Victoria Beckham (Posh), Geri Halliwell (Ginger), Melanie Brown (Scary) and Emma Bunton (Baby) - would come together.
The group may never get back together to perform full-time, but the girls enjoy spending time with one another. Last year, they got together to celebrate Beckham's 40th birthday on April 26, Us Weekly reported.
In 2012, the Spice Girls performed a selection of their greatest hits during the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games held in London.
"I was with Geri Halliwell and Mel B just recently, we love each other and we love performing together," 39-year-old Emma Bunton said on March 25. "It's just when the timing is right because we all have our own careers now and we have families, it's just about getting five schedules together and that's all it is."
Bunton also revealed that the girls had many songs that were never released, so perhaps we might get our hands on them one day.
"We recorded lots and lots and lots of songs," she told E! Online.
Hopefully we'll see the spices reunite in 2016. Friendship never ends!
