Will troubled star Amanda Bynes finally be getting psychiatric help?
Last night, the actress who has recently become infamous for her wacky Twitter rants, legal troubles and bizarre behavior started a small fire in the driveway of a Thousand Oaks, CA home at around 9 p.m., TMZ reports, near around the area she had been accused of trespassing the night before.
After a Thousand Oaks resident noticed a small blaze in the driveway, the sheriff's department was called. Police found Bynes near the self-made campfire and asked her what she was doing. When her answers didn't make much sense, they decided to put her on a 5150 hold.
Currently, Bynes is hospitalized at a psychiatric hospital where she will be evaluated involuntarily. On a 5150 police hold, Bynes can only be held for 72 hours.
These events follow a Sunday night incident in which Bynes was accused of trespassing outside of a retirement community in the same neighborhood after getting into an argument with a cab driver.
The cab driver told TMZ that Bynes was trying to get to an old folk's home when management at the place turned her away for allegedly being drunk and trying to trespass. The community called a taxi for Bynes, but when she got into the cab, she reportedly said, "Get me the f**k out of here...I don't have any money," and the driver kicked her out.
It was then that Bynes walked back towards the retirement community, and the cops were soon called. While there is no record of her getting arrested, TMZ speculates Bynes have received a ticket for trespassing, although there is no further information on the incident.
Bynes grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA and owns a house in nearby Calabasas.
