Filming of the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie in Times Square has begun, and the first images from the set have surfaced.
The upcoming movies involves an alien invasion on Earth that "spawn the mutated reptile warriors, the Ninja Turtles, who rise up against them to defend the world," according to the Daily Mail.
Photos of Megan Fox wearing a pair of curve-hugging denim jeans were released on Monday. The mother of 10-month-old Noah also wore brown ankle boots and a army jacket.
The 27-year-old "Transformer" actress plays reporter/superhero, April O'Neil, in the upcoming film. Fox's hair has been died a natural auburn color for match her character's.
Despite multiple reports of Fox's infamous falling out with "Transformer" director Michael Bay for comparing him to "Hitler," she was cast in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
"He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation," Fox told Wonderland Magazine in 2009. "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it's endearing to watch him."
Bay, who is the director of the upcoming film, responded to Fox's comments to GQ magazine.
"I wasn't hurt, because I know that's just Megan. Megan loves to get a response," Bay said. "And she does it in kind of the wrong way. I'm sorry, Megan. I'm sorry I made you work twelve hours. I'm sorry that I'm making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy."
According to the Daily Mail, filming of the remake in Times Square gathered a plethora of extras on set.
Will Arnett, 43, was also on set with his two sons, who watched their father filiming his scenes; the actor plays cameraman Vernon Fenwick, who blames the Ninja Turtles for causing problems and attempts to steal April's stories.
