David Letterman is leaving the "Late Show" with a bang!
CBS announced the lineup of well known celebrity guests scheduled to appear on "The Late Show With David Letterman" for the host's final 28 episodes.
Expected guests to appear on the show before Letterman departs in May include George Clooney, Robert Downey, Jr., Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Tom Hanks, Jack Hanna, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Keaton, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Sarah Jessica Parker, Don Rickles, Julia Roberts, Ray Romano, Paul Rudd, Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Short, Howard Stern, John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Oprah Winfrey, The Avett Brothers and Brandi Carlile, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, Dave Matthews Band, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Mumford and Sons, Ralph Stanley and Amos Lee.
This week, Letterman's guest lineup includes Sarah Jessica Parker, "The Talk's" Julie Chen, Asleep at the Wheel, Billy Crystal, sportscaster Chris "Mad Dog" Russo, country music performer Chris Stapleton, Michael J. Fox, Amy Sedaris, Iron & Wine and Ben Bridwell, Kevin James, Tom Dreesen, Tracy Chapman, Alec Baldwin and John Mayer.
It was not yet announced who will be the final celebrity on Letterman's last episode.
Letterman annouced last April that he was not planning to return to his hosting gig when his contract ends in August 2015.
After Letterman leaves his show, Stephen Colbert will take over, reported CBS.
