Sarah Paulson will carry on the "American Horror Story" torch as she returns for the fifth season, "AHS: Hotel."
FX announced Paulson will star in the fifth installment of Ryan Murphy's anthology series. She has previously starred in "AHS: Freak Show" (Season Four) "AHS: Coven" (Season Three) "AHS: Asylum" (Season Two) and "AHS: Murder House" (Season One).
She joins her "Freak Show" and "Coven" co-star Kathy Bates as well as Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bently, Chloë Sevigny and Matt Bomer.
Paulson played a medium in "Murder House;" an institutionalized lesbian journalist in "Asylum;" the headmistress of the boarding school attended by the descendants of the Coven of Salem in "Coven;" and both of the conjoined twin sisters in "Freak Show."
"American Horror Story: Hotel" will return in October.
